The conference center is shaped like “Taihu Lake Stone” and blends with the wetland park. It has a 6,000-square-meter central lobby, a 10,000-square-meter Taihu Lake Hall that can accommodate 10,000 people, a 3,100-square-meter 1,216-seat auditorium and 60 meeting rooms. It adopts a number of green and low-carbon technologies, such as photovoltaic building integration, and has won a number of awards. Its commissioning will make up for Wuxi's shortcoming in hardware for organizing large-scale conferences and activities, and drive the development of related industrial chains.
