The Kasitu Agricultural Irrigation Project, initiated by CECC in 2004, supplied water to nearly 3,000 hectares of land and was completed in 2010, resulting in a bumper crop on 500 hectares of farms. The drought relief project in Cunene province, which will start in 2019 and be completed in April 2022, is constructed by CEC, with a total length of 160 kilometers and 30 dams, benefiting 235,000 people, guaranteeing drinking water for 250,000 head of livestock and irrigating 5,000 hectares of land. Rehabilitation of the Cacala and Coria Irrigation Areas in Kwanza Norte province, which began on September 12, 2023, under the ownership of the Angolan Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, with funding from the World Bank and the French Development Agency, with a contract duration of 18 months, which will rehabilitate 626.5 hectares of irrigated areas.
