The project is located on the north side of G328 Linhai Expressway and the east side of the northern extension of S223 in Rudong County. The main components include geothermal exploration rights applications, drilling site surveys, drilling operations, water extraction permits, mining rights applications and processing, as well as the procurement and installation of geothermal pumps, water treatment systems, and mechanical room civil engineering works. The project requires a water temperature of 45°C (±3°C), a single well water output exceeding 300 m³/day, a deep well pump head of 350 meters, a maximum water extraction rate of 50 m³ per hour, and a water treatment system capacity of 300 m³/day. The project commenced in 2022 and was awarded to a joint venture between the East China Geological Survey Institute of Geochemistry and Marine Geology of the Jiangsu Provincial Nonferrous Metals Geological Survey Bureau and Nanjing Xinyixing Energy Development Co., Ltd.
