The Chongqing Yiswei Silicon and Silicon Carbide Components Project is located in Yufu New Town, Liangjiang New Area. It is being developed by Chongqing Xinhui Materials Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Yiswei Group, with a total investment of approximately 2.5 billion yuan and a land area of 135 mu. Construction began in early 2023, with production scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2025. The project is planned to have a monthly production capacity of 30,000 silicon and silicon carbide components, focusing on key consumables for semiconductor equipment such as silicon rings, silicon electrodes, and silicon carbide rings—with the silicon carbide rings filling a domestic market gap. Upon reaching full production capacity, the facility is expected to generate an annual output value exceeding 2 billion yuan, helping Chongqing establish itself as a leading hub for the semiconductor industry in Southwest China and supporting the self-reliance and control of the integrated circuit and advanced manufacturing industrial chains.
