The 823 computer room was built in 1999 and has been in continuous operation for many years. Owing to its early construction and commissioning, the equipment in the room is characterized by ageing infrastructure such as UPS and air conditioning, narrow underfloor space, and mixed and congested wiring, which poses operational risks. Therefore, equipment relocation and infrastructure maintenance are carried out as needed. For example, there was an equipment relocation service procurement project in 2015 to relocate the equipment in the Fuxingmen server room to the Desheng Data Center and designated locations within Beijing, and there will be infrastructure maintenance service procurement projects in 2020 and 2023 respectively to ensure the stable operation of the production equipment in the server room and to maintain the stability and safety of the use of the facilities.
