The Southern Data Center (Southern Technology Base) of the First Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, located on the southeast side of the intersection of Binhai West Avenue and Tianma Road in Jimei District, Xiamen, is one of the core components of the institute’s “one headquarters, six bases” strategic layout and serves as a key node of the National Public Service Platform for Online Identity Authentication. As the Southern Core Computing Hub of the First Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, it undertakes tasks such as national online identity authentication public services, public security big data, trusted evidence preservation, and security assessments, providing authoritative computing power and technical support for the digital economy and security governance in the southeastern region.
