The Gehua Cable Communications Building Data Center Project in the City Sub-center is a core piece of infrastructure supporting China Radio and Television’s 5G strategy. Located in the City Sub-center of Tongzhou District, it was constructed in accordance with national Class A standards and houses 590 server racks. It was delivered in February 2022 and hosts China Radio and Television’s Northern Region 5G core network, the Beijing provincial node, and the national IT resource pool, serving as a vital computing hub for the integration of broadcasting and telecommunications in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
