Approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, the center was established with a total investment of about 1 billion yuan, focusing on CPU, GPU, operating system, middleware and other core links to carry out research and industrialization of advanced computing technology and applications. The center integrates the resources of enterprises in the upstream and downstream of the industry chain, such as Fetion, Kirin Software and Haikou, and has built R&D platforms for advanced computing chip design, system integration testing and industry application verification, and has launched localized solutions in the fields of government affairs, finance, energy and so on. In addition, the center also builds joint laboratories with universities to cultivate computing industry professionals and help China's advanced computing industry to build independent innovation and ecology.
